Mary is dedicated to handling telephone calls, managing filing tasks, and inputting new client data into the lawware system in our Burntisland office. She diligently submits Power of Attorney details to the Office of the Public Guardian and Advance notices to the Registers of Scotland.
Mary’s professional journey includes employment at Fife County Council, later renamed Kirkcaldy District Council, and temporary part-time roles before joining a Finance company in 1987, where she dedicated 33 years of service. She now brings her expertise to our team on a part-time basis.
Mary finds immense fulfilment in her role. She is grateful to work alongside two highly skilled and experienced colleagues, Julie and Caitlin, who provide invaluable guidance – and are also family! With Julie as her sister and Caitlin as her niece, the office environment feels like a supportive family unit, creating a work atmosphere she eagerly anticipates.
Mary is known for being friendly, reliable, and honest, embodying these qualities in her professional interactions. In her leisure time, she cherishes walks at Ravenscraig Park, evoking nostalgic memories of her childhood. She takes pleasure in walking her 4-year-old Cavapoochon, Rosie. Despite facing the loss of her husband two years ago, Mary finds solace in the unwavering support of her family, including her daughter, son, and two grandchildren who she helps to look after when she isn’t in the office. Mary’s favourite holiday destination is Florida.
