Drug Offences

sexual-assult

Drug Offences range in seriousness but all can have long standing, upsetting and life-changing consequences. In line with the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 it is an offence to possess any substance which is banned.

This could be something deemed relatively minor such as procession of a small amount of cannabis (Class B) for personal use or sharing with friends or possession of a significant amount of Class A substances (ecstasy, cocaine, heroin) with intent to supply.

What we will do

We can deal with every type of Drug Offence and have years of experience in defending people from all walks of life who have been charged and faced with criminal proceedings against them. It is imperative that if you have been charged that you look to get an experienced solicitor on your side as soon as possible – drug charges, especially those where ‘intent to supply’ is involved can be highly complex.

Our Criminal Defence lawyers will take the time to understand the circumstances surrounding the charge, the type of substance or substances involved (Class A, B or C), the amount and the purpose then look to build a case for you to avoid or limit the charge, sentencing and ramifications this could have on you and your family’s life.
